Kevin Brosnan joined the department in 2011. Before coming to VCU, he taught at the University of Cambridge, in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, and at the University of California Santa-Cruz, in the Department of Philosophy.  He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. Outside of his work at VCU, Brosnan serves on the Board of Groundwork RVA, a volunteer, non-profit organization that helps young conservation leaders develop green infrastructure projects in Richmond’s urban neighborhoods.
