Christian Horlick has been teaching for the Department of Focused Inquiry since 2010. In addition to teaching courses in the Focused Inquiry series, he also teaches creative writing courses in poetry and nonfiction. He earned his Masters in Fine Arts from VCU and has taught for VCU’s English Department. His writing can be found in such literary journals as The Hayden’s Ferry Review, Clackamas, and The Georgia State Review, as well as other noticeable places such as on his mother’s refrigerator. He continues to hone his writing skills by adding commentary to students’ papers and disputing parking tickets.
