Katie Logan joined the Focused Inquiry community in 2016, where she teaches UNIV 111, UNIV 112, and ENGL 391. She returned to her home state of Virginia after earning a B.A. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University and an M.A. and PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on contemporary Arabic and Arab Anglophone literature, memory, migration, and women’s and gender studies. Outside of VCU, she volunteers with Reestablish Richmond
