Dr. Pallo joined the department in 2007, where she regularly teaches UNIV 111, UNIV 112, and UNIV 200. She has also taught UNIV 217 periodically, as well as Victorian Poetry in the VCU English department. She received her B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Spanish Literature & Culture from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. After spending several years as an Editor & Project Manager for a Seattle consulting firm, she earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature from Binghamton University, SUNY, with an emphasis on 18th- and 19th-century British Literature. Today, her research centers on the scholarship of teaching and learning, especially the way in which technology impacts these practices.
