Kim Zicafoose joined the Focused Inquiry faculty in 2007. She teaches 111, 112 and the 217 elective, Finding Your Voice in Contemporary Society. She currently serves on the textbook and assessment committees. Her research interests include teaching and learning and visual literacy. Previously, she taught in the VCU English Department where she taught English 101 and English 200 from 1999-2007. She received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia and her M.A. in Writing and Rhetoric from VCU. She resides in Mechanicsville with her husband, four children, two cats and a dog.
